Yup it has been a while since my last post, sorry Cat, its just lots has been going on. Since June of this year I started to volunteer at a juvenile detention center. Yeah you might think it is a scary place or a waste of time, but I love it. What do I do there? I talk to them. The topics I talk about are life lessons and the catholic faith. Lots of these teens are just misguided and they need to hit rock bottom to realize there is more to life than material things for instance drugs, money, alcohol, etc. I plan to continue visiting these teens because I truly believe they are not a lost cause and remind them that God will always love them. So Cat I need some of your quotes and strategies so can I connect more with these teens, thanks. Of course if anyone has any strategies don't be shy send me a comment or email. Besides that school is cool. My statistics class is killing me, but the personality class is interesting. By the way I am a psych major and soon, more like 2015 soon, I will graduate with my BA in psychology. My dream job is be a profiler so beware people.
The only new thing, more like person, in my life is Ron Hoch. Ron is my boyfriend and he is the most interesting man alive, yeah I go that from the Dos XX beer commercial. I have broken my fair share of hearts but the thought of breaking his saddens me. When I think about my future and the adventures I want to embark I see him there with me.
December is coming up and I can't wait. It's not the presents one receives in Christmas or the celebration on New Years it is because I have the opportunity to go to Tijuana, Mexico for a week. Gospel Roads is a program through Saint Dominic Savio Church where certain adults and young adults go and help out the parishes in any way down in Tijuana. In the next blog I will write about my experience down in Tijuana aka TJ. So, I am excited for December 26 to come, that's the day I will go to TJ.
Cat I hope all is well down in Juarez. Give Cho a big kiss for me yeah. I love you both so much. Oh yeah one more thing, tell Diana I met a young lady in Best Buy that reminded me of her. It was the funniest thing ever. The young lady was helping me, marisol and my parents out about an apple laptop and she insisted that she was part of our family and expected a Christmas present. HA! I love you guys and I always think of you. I mean I literally talk about you and Cho to my teens in the detention center.
Until next time beautiful people. Servus.

Cat the Roommate
Cat Florio my dear Canadian friend will be embarking on an adventure to Ciudad Juarez. For a year she will be dedicating her life serving her brothers and sisters. As August 12, 2013 is nearing I dread of that day where I will be telling her goodbye. Two years ago I had no relationship no knowledge of the existence of Cat. I meet this crazy Canadian on a two week missionary trip to Tijuana. Within those two weeks I developed a close friendship with Cat. As our friendship ages the more I realize how much I love her and miss her. I admire her for dedicating one year of her life living and serving the people in Ciudad Juarez. Hopefully in two years I would as well dedicate one year of my life in Mexico.
Destination: Xochil house, Califorina
Date & Time: August 7, 2013 11:32am
Cat is reading her journal. Now she is watching T.V. and browsing in her laptop. She is wearing her California T-shirt. I have two more days of craziness. I just ate an hour ago and now I am hungry. Cat is really enjoying the T.V. show that is on at the moment. I do not know the name of this comedy show. She is typing away. Last night we ate East LA tacos, which were the bomb. Wondering where this taco place is at the location is in front of Salesian High School, it is a food truck located in the car wash. Tijuana, Mexico tacos are much better in my opinion, but these tacos and some other places do have great Mexican food. Neighbors are blasting Spanish music. So yesterday I made a deal with Cat that I will join her in writing a blog for a year, yeah this will be a mission. Frankly, I am excited to join her. Unlike hers I will writing about random events of my life, but she will be writing about her experience in Ciudad Juarez. I love Cat and I will be praying for her safety and Diana Cho safety as well. I love these girls to death and I wish them the best experience. Ugh neighbor is singing away. Singing sounds like a good idea, eh. So Cat is searching on the internet on how to connect our blogs to Facebook due to her lack of recall. Until next time, Servus :)
